Fisheries Scientist Now On Board

Sockeye Salmon (c)Todd Pearsons/Engbretson Underwater Photography

I'm genuinely thrilled to welcome the addition of Todd Pearsons to our team of superb underwater photographers here at Engbretson Underwater Photography!  Todd is a true expert in his field.  He has a Ph.D. in fisheries science.  (They don't give those things out to just anybody.)  Todd has studied and photographed fish for over 25 years and is a well known and respected figure in this field.  His list of published scientific credits is both lengthy and impressive.  In short-Todd knows fish!

Todd is based in Ellensburg, Washington and regularly photographs many of the west coast trout and salmon  species that region is so famous for.  His underwater images of sockeye salmon are striking but he also photographs many other species of the Pacific Northwest that aren't quite as sexy.  His portfolio contains many non-game species including rare underwater images of Northern Pikeminnow for example.

I'm excited to be representing the underwater photography of Todd Pearsons which can be licensed for editorial and commercial purposes on my website.  You can view more of Todd's work in the Todd Pearsons Gallery on my website.  Todd joins Christopher Morey, Paul Vecsei, Roger Peterson, Isaac Szabo and myself on the "dream team" here at Engbretson Underwater Photography.
